Sitting

Branton has been sitting on his own for a few weeks now. The first time he sat alone for any length of time (around 20 seconds) was February 3. Since then he has been becoming more steady all the time. He still loses his balance regulary when he looks around but is making great progress. We tried to take some pictures when he first started sitting but my hand ended up being behind him in all the pictures because by the time we got the camera to go, he would start falling. I decided I would post a picture from that night anyway, even though he isn't sitting on his own in it. :)

Branton is a very happy baby, and no one makes him happier than his big brother. Here are a few recent pictures of them together.

Branton now loves taking baths. His favorite part, however, is watching his big brother.

Celebrating Christmas with Great Grandparents

On Christmas day, we went to GGma and GGpa's house and then to Great Granny and Great Grandpa Roy's house. Branton spent most of the time sleeping in the sling with Aunt Kayla at GGma's but was awake at Great Granny's.

Oakley Family Christmas

We had our Oakley family Christmas on December 23 without Grandma Oakley and Aunt Michelle because they had to go to the hospital. We missed them very much but still had a great time.
