Branton's First Christmas

Branton enjoyed his first Christmas morning at home with Daddy, Mommy, and Brennan.

Branton got tired of waiting on Brennan to wake up and slept the whole time that Brennan opened presents. This is a picture of him after he woke up right before he began opening his presents.

Oakley Family Christmas

We had our Oakley family Christmas on December 23 without Grandma Oakley and Aunt Michelle because they had to go to the hospital. We missed them very much but still had a great time.

Branton's First Christmas Eve's Eve Dinner

Great Granny, Great Grandpa Roy, GGma, GGpa, Grandma Oakley, Grandpa Oakley, Aunt Jessica, Uncle Ryan, Kinley, Jaxon, Aunt Krista, Uncle Justin, Kate, Aunt Kayla, Uncle Brett, Rachel, Aunt Michelle, and Uncle Josh were all able to come. Unfortunately, some of them were left out of pictures.

Christmas in Shawnee

We went to Shawnee to celebrate Christmas with Gran, Grandad, Uncle Kyle, and Aunt Lindsay from Sunday-Tuesday before Christmas. These are pictures from our time there; we will post more from our other Christmas celebrations over the next few days.

Rolling Over

Branton has learned to roll from his stomach to his back. He did it for the first time on New Year's Day (twice) and has done it more since then. He does not immediately roll over when you lay him on his tummy, but he is getting the hang of it. Hopefully, we will get video of it at some point.

4 months

Branton turned 4 months old on December 29. The time has flown by. At his doctor's appointment, he was 24.5 inches long and 13 lbs 9 oz. He is an incredibly happy little boy who likes to play on the rainforest mat, swing, sit in the bouncy seat, sit in the bumbo, sit in his highchair (to eat rice cereal before bed and to join us for dinner), and sit in the jumperoo (just recently). He loves being tickled and played with by Daddy, Mommy, Brennan, and anyone else who will play; he is quick to smile and laugh. We love our baby boy!
